Former J&K Governor Satyapal Malik Dies at 79 in Delhi

Satyapal Malik, who earlier served as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has passed away. He was 79 years old. As per reports, he had been receiving treatment for kidney-related health issues at a hospital in Delhi, where he died on August 5.

News agency PTI reported, quoting officials, “Jammu and Kashmir’s last governor Satyapal Malik dies in Delhi's hospital. According to available information, Malik was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi a few days ago. He passed away there earlier today.
